On December 14th, the San Diego incubator combined arts-based learning with citizen science in a day-long exploration of the Pueblo Watershed.

San Diego Incubator for Innovation Public Events

Designed to create flows of inspiration and ideas between the incubator and the larger community, our public events integrate with our innovation process. IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR WATER INNOVATIONS Explore Pueblo Watershed December 14, Saturday, 8:30 am – 2 pm Through direct observation and various sensing technologies, teams will explore a watershed to address the question: How does this urban watershed contribute to the well-being of its residents? Data collection and visualization will help us see patterns, relationships, and opportunities for innovation. GENERATE IDEAS WATER: In Search of Solutions January 25, 2014, Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm A unique assembling of people and organizations will share their water-related projects to create a learning landscape for innovation fellows and community members to explore. Demonstrations, hands-on activities, enlightening presentations, and round-table discussions will offer rich content to expand, enrich, and challenge our ideas. SHARE & LEARN PLAY DAY for Educators!
